Kriss & Jax review Solo: A Star Wars Story. For all the worry and talk about this film, it's so much better than anyone could imagine. The cast works extremely well together. Most people are coming for Donald Glover’s Lando, but they’ll stay for everyone else. Contrary to the rumors, Alden Ehrenreich nails a young, cocky, arrogant and ideological Han Solo. This film basically gives us a Han who hasn’t become completely jaded but also shows us that no matter how much of an outlaw he tries to pretend to be, he’s still a good guy underneath it all.

Woody Harrelson continues to be underrated and Emilia Clarke and Paul Bettany pull in great performances as well. But the real standout is Phoebe Waller-Bridge voicing the radical droid, L3-37.  If audiences thought K-2SO was a scene stealer in Rogue One, wait until they see L3. Without looking at the screen it would be easy to confuse her dialogue for that of a normal human. It’s that good.

What Solo brings to the table is something that a lot of fans might not have expected: Possibilities for other stories. This is a film that has no mention of Jedi or Sith and barely has the Empire in it. Solo shows that the Star Wars universe, even in prequel form, is pretty vast with a lot of stories to tell. Also, it’s very clear that things that happened in the Clone Wars animated series, Star Wars Rebels animated series and the new line of Marvel comic books, are all part of the same canon that the movies are using. There’s a special surprise in this film that is tied to something that happens in Clone Wars (the animated cartoon). It’s clear that Disney is building something special here.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is going to surprise a lot of people. It’s fun, expands the Star Wars lore and at the same time, feels like Star Wars. You’re not going to want to miss this one.

During an adventure into a dark criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his future copilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion.

Deadpool 2 suffers from what a lot of sequels do when it comes to it's story being a bit of a mess. But Ryan Reynold's is great as the Merc with a Mouth, the comedy hits and the action is great. Throw in Deadpool once again being the only Fox super hero movie that gets what the X-Men are supposed to be and this is a film fans will definitely enjoy. Kriss and Phenom break down what didn't work and worked for this sequel.

Foul-mouthed mutant mercenary Wade Wilson (AKA. Deadpool), brings together a team of fellow mutant rogues to protect a young boy of supernatural abilities from the brutal, time-traveling mutant, Cable.

If you would have told us halfway through season 1 of Supergirl that it would grow to be the second best show in the CW Superhero Universe behind Legends of Tomorrow, with Legends being the best, we would have called you bold face liars.  Yet here we are!  This week we see the World Killers start their plan to destroy the world, the fallout of Lena's secret, Mon El being a trash ass husband, Lena calling Kara out on her hypocrisy, and James making a choice.  The reveal that Lena can create Kryptonite is going to really cause a conflict...the question is will James keep the secret?

Also, can we talk about all these cancellations?  Thanos' finger snap has had effects beyond the MCU!

When Agents of Shield Season 5 showed us a cracked earth in episode 1, we immediately wondered how it would tie in Infinity War. We never thought it would tie-in with the events of Infinity War happening right along side the last 3 episodes of the season. This show is amazing. We think we know how this season ends and while we don't know if it's coming back for Season 6, we're rooting for it.

Daisy's future as the destroyer of worlds could take a critical change.

Structurally, this is a good episode. The stakes were high and the action was good. But we can't help but wonder why all the sudden ARGUS's hands are tied because of red tape and how the Quadrant became so weak compared to Diaz. Also, while we appreciate Oliver's growth, it's getting a bit annoying that the problems with Diaz were literally caused by everyone else.

Also, if you haven't read the Green Arrow Rebirth arc, you really should.

Diaz targets Team Arrow and their loved ones. Oliver struggles with Felicity putting herself in danger when she gets the chance to stop Diaz for good.

Brandon, Ashley and Kriss review Breaking In, starring Gabrielle Union and directed by James McTeigue. The film just isn't very good. First sign should have been that writer Ryan Engle has written such AMAZING films as Non-Stop, The Commuter and Rampage. In a post Black Panther world, half-assed low budget attempts to capitalize off of "diversity" by just throwing in a black woman aren't going to cut it. Everyone deserves better.

Kriss, Phenom and Ashley review the latest from Melissa McCarthy, Life of they Party. The movie comes off as if McCarthy and Ben Falcone have never been to a college campus. Add on top of that dead end characters that start arcs that don't get finished and just a bunch of logistics that don't make sense (Why is a late 40 to mid-50's former house wife moving into the dorms for 1 class?). McCarthy has done a lot better work and this film just feels lazy and extremely bad.

After her husband abruptly asks for a divorce, a middle-aged mother returns to college in order to complete her degree.

Kriss and Dpalm are irrationally excited about the upcoming Flash War in the Flash comic. The Flash #46 came out today and oh boy...we're ready. Now is the perfect time to catch up on our Wally West Character Corner.

Oh yeah...and then there's episode 21 of The Flash. Not a bad episode. Katee Sackhoff is over-the-top as Amunet but we love it. We definitely wouldn't mind seeing her start the Rogues next season. Also, can we get a little more consistency with Iris and her writing? Does she have a Blog? Is it that Popular? Does she only post like once a month? Come on folks, this is easy to fix. But overall we did like this episode (minus the Council of Harrisons and lack of DeVoe). Can this show land the final two episodes? We hope so.
