Thor: Ragnarok drops this week and so it's time to wrap up our Thor Character Corner with part 2. First we quickly cover what happened when we last left Thor during part 1. Ragnarok happened and Thor and the rest of Asgard died. And Thor stayed dead for a while. When the road to Civil War started, Thor was still gone but Mjolnir makes an appearance, falling to Earth as the Gods died, tearing a hole that allows Doctor Doom to escape Hell. After a brief attempt by Doom to take the hammer for himself, we then get Tony Stark's bad idea to make a Thor clone that...has disastrous results. Finally Thor returns. We focus on two writers this episode that really encapsulate Thor's return and that's J. Michael Straczynski (JMS) and current Thor writer Jason Aaron. JMS and Aaron really lean into the idea of Thor and the rest of Asgard being Gods. In a way, Thor is written much like Jesus is from the Bible and there are a lot of great stories. Asgard is reformed above Broxton, Oklahoma and while it seems like this could be a repeat of what happened the last time Thor & Asgard floated above earth, this time is vastly different. JMS and Jason Aaron really call into question not only what it means to be a God and if mortals still need Gods. You'll want to listen to our full Character Corner as we follow the journey of Thor (Odinson) to Thor (Jane Foster). Issues:

Kriss and Dpalm are back to review the latest episode of Inhumans, The Gentleman's Name is Gorgon. There's no reason to beat around the bush, Inhumans is clearly limping it's way to the finale of this first (and probably only) season. There is more Crystal in this episode and we get to see her use her powers a little bit more (kinda) but Isabelle Cornish really is struggling with her acting with the character. The rest of the episode isn't necessarily bad but it does feel like the show is cutting corners because of the condensed season and the pacing and story telling are suffering. Maximus dealing with Tibor's betrayal should have been a more interesting plot but instead it just feels cheap and unearned. With only two more episodes left can Inhumans right the ship and stick the landing? We'll see. Listen to get our full review. Gorgon and Karnak take on Auran and her Inhuman army with disastrous results Leave a 5 Star Review for us on the Super Tuesday feed and we'll read it on the next show! Kriss and Dpalm are back this week to review Arrow season 6 episode 3, Next of Kin. Arrow shocked us both by actually doing what we hoped the Flash would do with Kid Flash and is actually letting Diggle put on the hood and lead the team as the Green Arrow. This is a pretty significant shift for a show and while Diggle does have some struggles and they're clearly going with a storyline to get Oliver back, it works out pretty well. Listen for our full review of how Diggle does on his first episode as Star City's vigilante. A rogue black ops team led by Onyx breaks into Kord Industries and steals something lethal. Oliver struggles to connect with William so he reaches out to a surprising source for help. Leave a 5 Star Review for us on the Super Tuesday feed and we'll read it on the next show! Kriss and Dpalm are back to review season 3 episode 3 of Legends of Tomorrow, Zari. We meet the new member of the crew, Zari and with that this season starts to feel like a better version of season 1. We have two crew members that are tied through elements of the past (Zari and Amaya) and have a connection to the villain. We're way more confident that they'll pull this off this season than the first though. Mick Rory is the MVP of this episode. He has some great one liners and reactions to situations. Sara loses (scaring us all), Nate gets high and Gary fucks up. Listen to our full review to hear us discuss it all. We're back with another review/discussion about The Flash. This season has done a really good job of resetting the show to be more fun while still having serious moments. Hazard turned out to be a pretty formidable foe. We also got to see more of The Thinker's involvement with the new Metas which has a Wells Season 1 feel to it but still fresh. There will probably be some disappointment with the treatment of Wally and while valid, we make a pretty good point as to why it's not that bad. Listen to get our full review. When it was first announced that Fox would be doing a X-Men TV show, a lot of us were rightfully skeptical. Fox has had the rights to the X-Men for over 17 years and while their animated cartoons certainly resonated, their live action movies leave a lot to be desired for the fans of the X-Men. But after three episodes, The Gifted is proving to be the live action X-Men we've been waiting for. Sure, they don't have costumes and the X-Men and Brotherhood aren't on the show now (they've "disappeared"), but the show nails everything that makes the X-Men so great. From the allegory to civil rights to how emotions affect mutant's powers. It's all in there. We discuss the first three episodes of The Gifted and talk about why we love it so much and what we expect (and hope to see) from the rest of the season. You can listen to our full discussion by streaming the episode below, watching it on our Youtube Channel or subscribing to the Super Tuesday Recap feed on iTunes/Stitcher/Google.
