Shane Black's The Predator is a massive disappointment for the franchise. The film is all over the place and both adds too much and not enough at the same time. It's such a shame because what works particularly well for this film is the cast. The "Loonies" (Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Thomas Jane, Alfie Aleen and Augusto Aguilera) work well together and would make for one hilarious Expendables/Bad Company movie. Sterling K Brown shines as a villain (almost too well).

But outside of that, the film tries so hard to not be a Predator film is frustrating. It's not until almost the end of the film when a Predator actually does what Predators do, hunt. And even then it's almost as if it's an afterthought. Oh and the use of Jacob Tremblay to portray an autistic child is downright offensive.

Listen to Kriss and Phenom break down just how bad this film is.
